On Saturday morning before the St Paddy's parade my mom, dad, cousins, and their children ran in a race. My parents just joined for fun but my mom actually placed
3rd in her age group. She said she was stopping to walk with my dad when he was tired or she would have won! ha! My cousin Brittany also won her age group! Go girls!

Weekend Trip

Josh and I loaded up the kids and took a trip to New Orleans to go to the aquarium and just hang out. We went swimming and ate a bunch of good food and went to bed at 8pm in NOLA! The next day, we got up and ate beignets and drove to the coast to meet up with my family and go to a St. Paddy's day parade. It was a fun weekend!

We've had a crazy week. Jay started running fever last Friday so on Sunday he was still sick so I took him to the dr. He had an ear infection in both ears and bronchiolitis.....He was a pitiful thing. After some medicine and lots of loving from Gigi and Pitty Pat while I worked this week, he is back to my sweet and happy baby.

A few weeks ago, I went to get my hair worked on and decided to put Elle in the chair for her first haircut. She did great and it was much needed. It only took us almost 3 years to get enough hair to cut. ha!

We had 2 bday parties on Saturday. This pic is from the first one that morning at planet gymnastics. It was so much fun and I"m thinking of enrolling Elle in a class there!

Pony Ride

We went to Mary Clayton's 2nd birthday party a few weeks ago and she had a pony carousel and an animal petting zoo. Elle conquered her fear of riding the pony and was so proud of herself. Her birthday is coming up in April and she says she wants a donkey like Mary Clate had!

Jay had his doctor's appt today and his stats are 25 and 5/8 inches long (75%), 14.3 lbs (30%) and also 30% in head circumfernce. He is long and thin I guess! He really is the sweetest baby ever. He is rolling over like crazy and trying to get his knees under him and scoot. He laughs out loud and loves looking at his sister.

Christmas, Bdays, and Valentine's

We usually go to Houston, TX on Christmas day but this year we post-poned it a few weeks b/c of Jay being so young and all the family couldn't go on Christmas day. So, we loaded up both kids and boarded a plane to Houston in January. It was a great time as always and we also got to celebrate memaw (Eleanor Gianola---where we got the name Elle) josh's grandmother's 91st bday......yes, she is still driving and can drink a margarita with you all day long! Also, today was Valentine's day so I got some pics of Elle opening her happy. I got a dozen roses, a framed pic of me and my babies, and Josh cooked dinner 2 nights in a row. First night was salad, shrimp scampi, and garlic bread. Tonight is fennel and pancetta salad w red wine vinegarette, roasted asparagus, and filet! I know-----great hubby. I feel lucky!
