Birdie

Thought I would give ya'll an update on Jay. He is now 7 months old and beginning to crawl and get into everything. He can follow me from room to room and has pulled up in his crib and on the ledge of our fireplace to stand. We already lowered the crib and have to keep our eyes on him. He can say Da Da, Ba Ba, and Bye Bye but I don't think he understands how to use them yet. Elle has gone from calling him "Jaybird" to just "Birdie". He LOVES his big sister and thinks anything she does it funny!

Elle's 3rd birthday party

We had Elle's 3rd birthday party at the zoo this year. The party started out at the playground in front of the zoo. Then, we moved the party under a pavillion for bday cake and ice cream and then went inside the zoo. Most of us skipped the animals and went straight to the splash park since it was so hot. Birthday Beach Trip

My mom and I decided to take Elle to the beach at Ocean Springs on her 3rd birthday. We played on the beach, hit up all the playgrounds, and had a good time. Elle's class after celebrating her bday with cupcakes

Jay's 6 month check-up

He's a whopping 16lbs (20%)and 26.5 inches (51%). He tore that paper on the table apart and scooted all over it. He is now saying Ba Ba and scoots anywhere he needs to go!

Jay's Baptism

We had Jay's baptism this morning at church and it was really nice. He acted like an angel and Elle didn't have any meltdowns so it was a success! Jay wore the gown that Josh's grandmother hand made over 34 years ago and it has been worn be Josh, his sister Jenni, Elle, and now Jay. So special.

Easter Parties and Beach bunnies

We had our annual Easter egg hunt and party at canebrake. It started off with a magician, then the Easter bunny showed up, an egg hunt, and ended with a yummy buffet. There were over 100 kids there this year which was very chaotic and it didn't help that Elle decided to skip her nap that day so she was extra fun.

I had to get in the pic with the bunny b/c she wasn't too sure about him and there wasn't enough time to let her warm up to him before it was someone else's turn!
