Pinkalicious

Elle has been "off the rictor scale" excited for the last 3-4 weeks since she heard that pinkalicious the musical was coming to hattiesburg. My mom took her to the Saenger theater several weeks ago to buy tickets and she has asked about it every day since then. We have been reading her the book and she's been sleeping in her pinkalicious pjs getting ready for the big day!
She insisted on dressing up just like pinkalicious from the cover of the book--so cute

Her BF Mary Clayton was pretty pumped up too! They were being so sweet in this pic.

Elle and Caroline---she wanted to wear her princess dress and had it on since 9am that morning ready to go!

This Sunday was Palm Sunday and the preschoolers sang in church. My parents and Josh's parents came to watch Elle perform.

Spring break 2013

My mom took Elle and Caroline to Ocean Springs for the first part of the week and they had a ball. They went to the beach, shopping for baby dolls, and to the Crock Center which is a large indoor waterpark. The girls played hard and Elle was worn out when she got home on Thursday. Josh and I took off on Friday and headed back to the coast for some St Paddy's day fun and relaxation with the kiddos.
Swimming in the hot tub. Jay would dunk his head under and we would push him to one another like a torpedo. He LOVED it.

We went to the St Paddy's day parade in Biloxi

Elle thought she was hot stuff in this green boa

Happy Sunday

We had a pretty busy but also fun weekend. Saturday morning Josh got up and took the kids to Huddle House for the "MVP breakfast". This has become their saturday morning ritual b/c Josh and the kids are all early birds and momma is NOT. Josh gets coffee for him, chocolate milk for Elle, and MVP breakfast-- waffles, grits, eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and toast all for about $6! Jay eats the waffle and Elle eats the rest. I love this time they get to spend together and I get to sleep late (8:30am). I did reward him by letting him head to the golf course while the kids and I went to 2 bday parties. I was too busy to get any good pics but we had fun at planet gymnastics and then at kids rule.

We got up and "sprang forward" today with the time change and headed to church

The azaleas in front of our house are blooming and beautiful!

Elle had to have Olivia (her baby) hooked in her baby bjorn to play outside today

What is it about boys putting their hands down there? He was ready for a nap!

Valentine's Day

My little Valentine's opening there happies....they got bubbles, sidewalk chalk, and balloons. Elle also got a new Jcrew outfit :) Elle had a Vday party at her school so my mom and Jay went and enjoyed the party too! They pulled Jay up a chair and he loved eating all the cookies, cupcakes, and JUNK. Elle and her buddy Anna Cooper This big boy went for his 15 month checkup (we were a month late)....his stats are 21 lbs (BIG 5%), 31 and 3/8 inches (46%) and his head circumference was 30%....he's a busy body for sure. Doesn't like to eat a lot but he can climb anything, run, jump on the trampoline, and TALK like you wouldn't believe. HE's a little parrot and will repeat anything we tell him....He has started hitting Elle, pulling her hair, and thowing fits so he has been spending some quality time in "time out" lately.....he's got quiet the personality....ha

My grandmother (mama myrick) had her 88th bday so all went to Charlie's Catfish house to celebrate. We had 25 of us to come so it was quite the party and the BEST catfish if you've never eaten there :)
So proud!
Ready for church and we have reached a milestone with Jay at church----he didn't cry for the first time EVER when we dropped him off at the nursery. Elle hardly ever met a stranger or cried so this was worrying me! He actually reached out for the nursery worker and went to her this time though. He's growing up!
Taking a little spin
We've been crazy busy at work lately and I've come home late everyday with headache and back-ache. Elle was the last one to be picked up at school a few days so therefore she has had some more awesome braid jobs. I don't even know how they get her hair this tight b/c her hair is so fine. One day I picked her up and her teacher had cooked her a mini pizza b/c it was dinner time and she was starving. Poor baby!
Another one of those weeks where I don't know to laugh or cry but this smiling face sure does make it worth while!

Houston

We took our annual trip to Houston, TX to celebrate Christmas a little late and also celebrate Memaw (Josh's grandmother's) 92nd bday! She as is sharp as ever and doesn't miss a beat either!
Elle helping blow out the candles
We were brave enough to go out to dinner one night with a 3 yr old, 1 yr old and 6 month old! They did great and we even managed to eat a little bit.
The hot tub and pool was heated although not nearly enough for me to swim but Elle decided to take a quick dip!
