HO HO HO

We have been super busy lately getting ready for Santa. We went to Jackson last weekend and Elle got a princess kitchen from her Aunt Jenni for Christmas and she loves cooking in her kitchen. She also loves the Christmas tree and has even started hiding my ornaments and opening the gifts underneath it that she is not supposed to. Anytime she sees something that looks like Christmas she says "HO HO HO" soooo cute

Happy Thanksgiving

My parents bought a condo in Ocean Springs, MS so we spent Thanksgiving there and went out fishing in the gulf. We caught some white trout and Elle got to take her first boat ride. She LOVED it and held her hands up in the air like she was riding a roller coaster.

Go Dawgs

We went to Starkville this weekend to cheer on the dawgs. We had two tailgating bday parties on Saturday so Elle got lots of cake. It was a great weekend and a happy halloween!

Fall Festival

We went to a fall festival at canebrake and they had a jumpy house, petting zoo, costume contest, and tons of good food. Elle loved it all except the pony ride-----she was not about getting on that pony!

MSU Football

Josh and I took a trip to Baton Rouge to see MSU lose to the mighty Tigers a few weekends ago. It was a fun trip even though we lost. Last weekend we took Elle to Starkville for the Alcorn State vs. MSU game. We even got on TV on Fox Sports South. Elle did great at the game!

Seaside 2010

We took our annual Gianola family trip to Seaside. Elle wasn't too crazy about the sand but she loved the swimming pool and chasing the birds on the beach. Thanks to Pitty Pat and Grand-Joe for an awesome trip.

Chicago

Josh and I took a trip to Chicago a few weeks ago to see the city, the cubs play, and to see some college friends. We drove up to Southbend for the Notre Dame vs. Michigan game. It was a rainy, cold game but we had an awesome time!

One year portrait

I just got Elle's one year photos in so I posted a pic of my giclee i ordered. It is a watercolor of Elle based on one of her photos. Traci Goodwin did it and I love it! I hung it last night and Elle just points to it and says "baby". It's too cute!

Summertime fun

Today after church we went to mama myrick's (elle's great grandmother) house for a big country lunch straight out of the garden. Elle had never seen half of the vegetables there and wasn't so sure about it. She had her first squash dressing, okra, and her first sweet tea. I think she still prefers goldfish crackers and juice but she did pretty good! After lunch she played in the dirt with her cousin Caroline and then we had to move it to my parents house for some swimming. Fun day!
